Shipping Policy
Thank you for shopping with Doolittle Trailer Parts. This Shipping Policy outlines how orders are processed, shipped, and delivered.
Order Processing
- Orders are typically processed within 1-3 business days after payment is received.
- Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
- Processing times may vary during peak seasons, promotions, inventory shortages, or unforeseen circumstances.
- Customers will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once the order has shipped.
Shipping Methods
We offer shipping through various carriers, including but not limited to UPS, FedEx, USPS, and LTL freight carriers.
Available shipping methods and rates are calculated at checkout based on:
- Product weight and dimensions
- Delivery location
- Selected shipping service
Shipping Destinations
We currently ship to addresses within the United States. Additional shipping destinations may be added at our discretion.
We do not ship to:
- P.O. Boxes for oversized items
- Freight forwarding services (unless approved)
- International destinations unless specifically stated
Delivery Times
Estimated delivery times are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed.
Typical transit times:
- Standard Shipping: 2-7 business days
- Expedited Shipping: 1-3 business days
- Freight Shipments: Varies by destination and carrier
Delivery estimates begin after order processing is completed.
Freight Shipments
Certain oversized or heavy products may require freight shipping.
For freight shipments:
- A valid phone number is required.
- The carrier may contact the customer to schedule delivery.
- The customer is responsible for ensuring someone is available to receive the shipment.
- Additional charges may apply for residential delivery, liftgate service, re-delivery attempts, or limited-access locations.
Shipping Delays
Doolittle Trailer Parts is not responsible for delays caused by:
- Weather conditions
- Carrier service interruptions
- Natural disasters
- Labor shortages or strikes
- Incorrect shipping information provided by the customer
- Events beyond our reasonable control
Address Accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.
If an order is returned due to:
- Incorrect address
- Undeliverable address
- Refused delivery
The customer may be responsible for additional shipping charges to reship the order.
Damaged, Lost, or Missing Shipments
Customers should inspect all shipments immediately upon delivery.
If a shipment arrives damaged:
- Note any visible damage with the carrier upon delivery.
- Take photographs of the packaging and product.
- Contact us within 5 business days of delivery.
If a shipment is lost or missing:
- Contact us as soon as possible.
- We will work with the carrier to investigate the issue.
- Claims are subject to carrier policies and timelines.
Partial Shipments
Orders containing multiple items may ship separately depending on inventory availability, warehouse location, or shipping method.
Customers will not be charged additional shipping fees for split shipments unless otherwise agreed upon.
Order Tracking
Tracking information will be sent to the email address provided during checkout once the order has shipped.
Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to become active after receiving a shipping confirmation email.
